Chief Executive Officer
Mike Currie has more than 30 years experience working in the financial services industry having worked across many customer and geographical segments, and numerous major transformation projects which have equipped him with the skills vital to successful change management and innovation. A recognised and respected facilitator of change, he brings extensive leadership skills to QBANK.
Holding a Bachelor of Business, a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and a Masters Degree in Applied Finance – Mike is also a Fellow of Finsia, and a member of the Risk Management Association.
Chief Financial Officer
With more than 15 years’ experience in the banking and financial services industry, Kelly joined QBANK in 2011 as the Finance Manager, later being appointed as Chief Financial Officer, in 2019.
Kelly is a CPA qualified accountant and holds several qualifications which include a Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Finance) and Graduate Diploma of Mathematics with Distinction.
Kelly is responsible for the accounting and treasury functions of the bank and maintaining integrity of financial information. Kelly has a keen focus on providing strong, sustainable business for members.
Chief of Distribution and Partnerships
With more than 30 years in the banking and finance industry, most recently in a member-owned bank, Bruce brings a customer centric approach to his Sales and Marketing role.
Bruce holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and has a proven success in achieving business revenue and growth targets and leading sales teams.
Member experience and satisfaction is at the core of Bruce’s focus for QBANK and he uses his experience in leading projects to continually improve the design, pricing and distribution of banking products and services.
Bruce uses his knowledge and skills to create meaningful relationships and working partnerships to provide our members with highly competitive and accessible products and services.
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Kerrie has responsibility for strategic oversight of QBANK’s people and culture function, banking operations, branch network and call centre.
Kerrie has worked in a variety of industries and geographies within and outside of Australia including in the U.S. and throughout Asia Pacific. With over 20 years experience in the financial services industry she has a strong appreciation of the necessity to “get the people and process issues right” and how this ultimately translates into a positive customer experience.
Authenticity and leading by example are key values for Kerrie as is the obligation to challenge the status quo. Her focus at QBANK is on the development and engagement of our people, creating a culture of operational excellence, and delivering exceptional service to our members.
Chief Risk & Governance Officer
Josie leads the Risk, Governance and Compliance team at QBANK. She is responsible for the development and implementation of the risk, governance and compliance frameworks and her role encompasses the position of Company Secretary and CRO.
Josie has over 20 years experience as a solicitor, company secretary and risk and governance professional and has worked in a variety of diverse industries including financial services, energy, aviation and property. She supports the business by providing timely and practical advice to enhance strategic decision-making and ensure regulatory obligations are met.
Head of Technology & Transformation
Trevor leads the Technology and Transformation team at QBANK. He is responsible for the establishment and implementation of best practice Digital and Technology strategy for the Bank. In addition, Trevor is responsible the execution of projects and product initiatives.
Trevor has over 15 years experience working in Technology and Project management roles, with over 13 of those years working in Banking and Finance, during this time having steered a long line of complex and large scale transformational projects.
Trevor brings knowledge and experience to the Executive team and assists in driving strategic decision-making to improve the member experience and the services offered to members.
