A message from the QBANK CEO

It has been a big 12 months here at QBANK.

The New Payments Platform launched in February, with QBANK live on day one, giving members access to real-time payments, and the ability to use an email address or phone number instead of account and BSB numbers as identifiers.

This is part of an ongoing digital transformation program to ensure we keep up with the rapid pace of banking technology globally.

Over the last six months we have added senior Relationship Managers to our front-line team to strengthen the unique relationships we have within your community.

The Bank also commenced delivering financial education seminars in the workplace as part of our commitment to support you with your financial wellbeing.

These seminars cover topics like:

  • Understanding your credit history
  • Buying a home
  • Moving out and renting, and
  • Debt consolidation, just to name a few.

Soon you will be able to view these online via webinars, so you can access them on-demand in your own time.

Planning is also well underway for our Everyday Heroes Awards and we have received some great nominations so far.

Nominations close on the 5th August so if you know someone who has gone above and beyond to make Queensland a better place, now is the opportunity to tell their story.

We’re looking forward to another fantastic 12 months here at QBANK, and we are working hard on several projects including mobile wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay, video conferencing capability, as well as ongoing improvements to our product range.

These initiatives are just part of our commitment so show you that we’re more than a typical bank.

Thank you for being a member and banking with QBANK.
