It is one of our favourite events on the QBANK Community Engagement and Staff Social Investment calendar.
Every year, the staff at Policelink co-ordinate the drive by fundraising and seeking donated gifts from sworn and un-sworn members of the Queensland Police Service.
The Gift Drive aims to provide young people who are considered at-risk or disadvantaged with a gift this Christmas season.
This year 1,767 children, aged between one and 12 years, were registered to receive gifts.
QBANK are proud sponsors of this event, donating gifts for the children. Staff also volunteer their time to assist with gift wrapping alongside the Queensland Police Commissioner, Ian Stewart.
It is a cause very dear to the hearts of staff here at QBANK, and we are truly blessed to be involved.
We wish all the children and their families a safe and happy festive season.
QBANK has recently been alerted to fraudulent activity. Queensland Police have today released a warning for members of the public as Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) card skimming devices have been detected on several ATMs across Metropolitan Brisbane.
As these devastating fires continue to engulf our nation, our thoughts are with our emergency services, those helping evacuate and assist on the frontline, and the communities & families that are suffering during this unprecedented disaster.
QBANK is looking forward to helping even more of our members get into the property market for the first time, after being selected as a panel lender under the Australian Government’s new First Home Loan Deposit Scheme (FHLDS).
