This month we were out supporting the Pedal4Paramedics Challenge in the Darling Downs, raising much needed funds for the Queensland Ambulance Service Legacy Scheme.
Starting and ending in Toowoomba, riders from across the state cycled 640 km over seven days, around the Darling Downs.
They even made time to stop at schools along the way to conduct CPR and First Aid awareness with students.
This year the event raised just over $16,500 which will go towards supporting the 15 children from the 9 families that Queensland Ambulance Service Legacy currently supports.
Queensland Ambulance Service Legacy is a charitable organisation that provides a range of services to Queensland Ambulance Service families who have suffered the loss of a loved one. They are there to help the spouse and children who are left behind, striving to ensure they never feel forgotten.
