About our online application process


Applying online is simple and convenient — it usually takes around 20 minutes to complete. To get started, please make sure you:

  • are eligible to be a QBANK Member (see full eligibility criteria here)
  • are 18 years or older;
  • live permanently in Australia;
  • are employed on a PAYG basis;
  • are applying either on your own or with one other person, using one property as security;
  • don't need a guarantor; and
  • aren't applying to buy land or build a house.

If your situation is a little different, that’s okay — you can still apply with us by phone on 13 77 28 (Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 4:30pm) or simply fill out an enquiry form and we'll be in touch.

Verifying your details

To make the process faster and easier, we’ll securely verify your information online. As part of this process:

  • You enter your own internet banking details into a secure portal to authorise access.
  • This provides us with a one-time snapshot of your bank account transactions to help assess your application.
  • Your login details are never stored or shared — they remain completely private to you.
  • We’ll also verify your identity electronically (you’ll just need your driver’s licence or passport handy).

Saving your application

You can save your application at any time and return to it later, so there’s no need to complete it all in one go.
